Upcoming time table for Negotiations 2008 - Vale Inco and USW 6166.

Nominations took place on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 for the USW Local 6166 Bargaining Committee.

Elections will be held for the Bargaining Committee on Monday, February 11, 2008 at the USW Union Hall, 19 Elizabeth Drive. We are attempting to have Advance Polls in place. (Please look for future updates.)

Surveys will be sent to the Membership to help provide a mandate for the Negotiating Committee.

When the surveys are returned to the Union Hall and the Departmental Informational Meetings have been held, a Ratification Meeting will be held with the Membership for approval on the proposals we intend to take to the Bargaining Table.

Proposals will be exchanged between the parties in June/July 2008.
