Steward & Committee Member Banquet |
Every year, our local honors the union stewards and health, safety and environment representatives that champion the rights of the members by holding an evening of festivities. The evening is meant to thank those that take the time, either at work, or at home, to handle the issues and concerns of the steelworker members that are affected by the decisions made by the respective company's they work for.
This years event was exceptional as we had a delightful meal prepared by the staff at the Juniper Center, with cocktails served prior to the meal. Dignitaries from the highest ranks of the United Steelworkers Organization came to the event not only to partake of the festivities, but to relay very important messages to the representatives and through them, to our members.
